The headline

This is a reliability fix, not a new feature — there's no new screen, button, or setting to announce. The honest framing is: Dentolize's WhatsApp Business integration now works correctly for contacts who use WhatsApp's privacy settings, instead of silently dropping or mishandling their messages.

Why this is worth mentioning at all

WhatsApp's username-privacy feature (hiding your number from businesses you haven't recently messaged) is a real, opt-in setting some contacts use — and before this fix, messaging a clinic while using it could mean the message never produced a working conversation, and a clinic's reply might never arrive. That's a support ticket a clinic shouldn't have to file, framed at their patients as "the clinic's WhatsApp is broken." This PR removes that failure mode.

What to say (and not say)

• Say: "Our WhatsApp integration correctly handles contacts who hide their phone number, so no message gets lost regardless of a patient's privacy settings."
• Don't say: this is a new "privacy feature" Dentolize built — the privacy setting belongs to WhatsApp/Meta, not to Dentolize. Dentolize is correctly supporting it, not offering it.
• Don't say: "now available" in a way that implies previous inbound messages from these contacts are recoverable — they weren't stored (the upsert failed), so there's no backlog to point to.
• Don't overstate the online-payment gap: contacts who can only be reached by BSUID cannot yet get a WhatsApp-initiated payment link (see For Quality) — don't market complete parity with phone-visible contacts.

Who cares

Clinics in the target markets are unlikely to have many patients actively hiding their numbers from a business they haven't texted before — this is a long-tail correctness fix more than a demand driver. It's best framed internally/to prospects as evidence of engineering thoroughness on the WhatsApp integration, not as a standalone pitch point.
