The pitch, in clinic-owner terms
"You can connect the tools you already use — your lab, your payment gateway, your insurance workflow — directly into Dentolize, and you stay in control of exactly what each one can see. Nothing gets access until you approve it, and you can see a log of everything a connected tool has actually done."
Questions you'll get, and honest answers
"What integrations do you actually have right now?" Be direct: at this stage, the platform exists and is production-engineered — the demo integration is a working reference, not the product. If they're asking because they specifically want, say, a lab-order or ZATCA integration, that's a REST API + webhook surface that's already built (see Clinical & revenue integrations) — the honest framing is "the platform can support that integration, and here's the API a partner would build against," not "here's a plugin you can install today."
"Can any of my other vendors just connect themselves?" Not yet self-serve. A vendor's developer needs to go through Xolize to get a listing created and published (devrel@dentolize.com). Don't promise instant self-onboarding.
"Is my patient data safe if I install something?" This is where the product genuinely shines — lean into specifics, not reassurance. Every plugin declares scopes up front, patient-identifying data is a separate, extra-scrutinized scope tier from operational data, every access to patient PII is logged with the specific records touched, and uninstalling immediately revokes API access. Point to the consent screen in Walkthrough as the concrete artifact — it's more convincing than any claim.
"What happens if I install something and change my mind?" Uninstall is one click on the Danger tab, kills API access and webhook delivery immediately, and there's a "request data deletion" option that's forwarded to the developer (a contractual request under the DPA, not an instant technical guarantee — be precise about that distinction if pressed, don't overpromise a real-time wipe).
"Does this cost the clinic anything?" Nothing in the shipped code establishes pricing/billing for plugins or plugin installs — don't improvise a pricing model in a sales conversation; that's a separate commercial decision, not something this PR answers.
Objection handling
- "We already have a lab integration built custom for us." Fine — this platform doesn't replace bespoke integrations, it's for the long tail of vendors Xolize can't custom-build for every clinic. Position it as additive.
- "Sounds like a security risk — third parties touching our data." Reframe: the alternative today is clinics exporting spreadsheets or sharing logins with vendors informally, which has no audit trail at all. This platform is the more controlled version of something clinics are likely already doing informally.
Don't say
- "Available now" / "installable today" for anything beyond the demo plugin — this is unreleased.
- Specific named third-party partners unless Sales has separately confirmed that partnership exists; this PR only ships the platform, not partner agreements.
