The one‑line story

Your ZATCA e‑invoice now matches your patient's receipt — to the cent.

What this is (and isn't)

This is a correctness and compliance improvement, not a flashy feature. There's no new screen to demo. The value is trust: the number a patient pays and the number the government receives are now guaranteed to be the same on every invoice, including multi‑line ones where they could previously drift by a cent.

Market it as reliability, not novelty.

Messaging that's true to the code

Safe, accurate claims you can make:

  • "E‑invoice totals reconcile exactly with the invoice total shown to patients."
  • "VAT is rounded the way the ZATCA / EN16931 category rule requires — once, on the taxable base — so your reported totals are consistent and audit‑friendly."
  • "A fix for a subtle rounding drift that could make a reported total a cent off on multi‑line invoices."

Claims to avoid (they'd overstate it):

  • ❌ "Now available to all customers" — this is unreleased; frame it as coming / in an upcoming release.
  • ❌ "Fixes all rounding issues" — the PR fixes the dominant VAT‑rounding cause; a smaller per‑unit discount contributor and the underlying Float storage remain (see The Cent Problem & the Fix).
  • ❌ "New ZATCA integration" — ZATCA integration already exists; this improves its accuracy.

Angle by audience

  • Existing Saudi clinics: peace of mind — "one less thing to reconcile at month‑end."
  • Prospective clinics evaluating compliance: signals engineering rigor around ZATCA / Fatoora, which is a real buying concern in KSA.
  • Multi‑branch groups: the more invoices you process, the more a per‑invoice cent adds up; consistency scales with you.

Suggested collateral

  • A simple before/after graphic: Receipt 2999.99 → ZATCA 3000.00 (before) vs 2999.99 → 2999.99 (after).
  • A short "how we round VAT" explainer for a trust/compliance page, drawn from the worked example in the feature breakdown.
