For Marketing
What this is, in one line
The internal clinic dashboard app can no longer be indexed by Google (or any other search engine) — it's an SEO/hygiene fix, not a customer-facing feature.
Why you might care anyway
This is background plumbing, not a talking point — don't put it in release notes, changelogs, or customer-facing announcements. There's no new capability here for clinics or patients. That said, two things are worth knowing:
- It's a positive signal, not a negative one, if it ever comes up.
Before this change, staff dashboard URLs could technically surface in search results. If a prospect or reviewer ever asks "can I Google my way into a Dentolize clinic's dashboard," the honest answer is now "no, and we've explicitly told search engines to stay out."
- This doesn't touch marketing surfaces. The public marketing site,
landing pages at my.dentolize.com, and anything meant to be found by search stays exactly as it was — untouched by this PR. Nothing here affects SEO for the pages you actually want indexed.
What not to say
Don't describe this as "improved security" or "data protection" in outward messaging — it's a crawler-indexing convention, not an access control. The login wall was already there; this only stops the existence and titles of dashboard pages from being surfaced in search results.
