For Marketing
This is a small, back-office permissions refinement — not a headline feature. It's not something to lead a release announcement with, but it's a legitimate data point in the "built for real clinics, not just demos" story: Dentolize's permission system is granular enough to separate "can add a record" from "can control what date it's dated," which matters to any multi-role clinic with an owner, an accountant, and front-desk staff sharing the same system.
Positioning notes
- Audience: this resonates with clinic owners and practice managers
evaluating financial controls — not with patients or referral partners. It's not consumer-facing.
- Theme it fits: "granular roles and permissions" / "financial
governance" — same bucket as existing messaging around insurance processing controls and multi-branch permission groups.
- Don't describe it as a new feature area (there's no new screen, no new
workflow). It's a tightening of an existing one: expenses and salary adjustments now follow the same "who can move the date" model that appointments and patient records already used.
A usable line, if this comes up
"Dentolize lets you decide exactly who can back-date a transaction — down to the individual expense or salary adjustment — so your books stay accurate even when several people share access to your finances."
Do not claim
- Do not say this is "now available" broadly — it ships on a feature branch
and is unreleased as of this writing.
- Do not imply it prevents fraud or is an audit/compliance certification. It's
an access control, not an audit trail product (though the existing "Logs" section already records who changed what).
