For Marketing

Short version

Nothing to market. This is an internal build/infrastructure change to how the server package's dependencies are labeled. It has no effect on any product surface a clinic, patient, or prospect ever sees — no UI, no new feature, no behavior change.

If it comes up anyway

Occasionally an engineering-facing "we made our infrastructure more efficient" note is useful in a changelog aimed at technical stakeholders (e.g., an enterprise customer's IT/security reviewer asking about build hygiene). If so, keep the framing modest and accurate:

  • Say: "We continue to invest in leaner, faster build and preview

infrastructure."

  • Don't say: a specific disk-savings number. The number in this PR's own

description (~2.1 GB) does not currently hold for this repository's build — see Feature breakdown for why. Making a quantified claim here risks being wrong if someone checks it.

  • Don't frame this as a "feature" or "release" — there is nothing a

user opts into or notices.

Recommendation

Don't include this in customer-facing marketing or release notes at all. It's not the kind of change that belongs there.
