The short version

This is a backend reliability fix, not a new feature — there's nothing new to announce to customers, and no new screen or button to highlight in release notes or a changelog entry aimed at end users.

If it comes up anyway

If a clinic on Paymob reports (or reported) that "online payment links sometimes don't generate," this fix is the relevant context: it closes one specific, silent failure mode — a patient with no email address on file. It is not a broader payments overhaul, and shouldn't be framed as one.

What NOT to say

  • Don't call this "new Paymob support" — Paymob integration already existed;

this only fixes link generation for patients without an email.

  • Don't imply email is now required, or that patients need to add an email

to pay online — the opposite is true; Dentolize now papers over the missing email automatically, so patients still never need to provide one.

  • Don't reference "online_payment@dentolize.com" externally — it's an

internal placeholder value sent to Paymob's API, not a support address or anything patient-facing.

Positioning, if asked

Frame it as: "Dentolize's online payment links work reliably regardless of whether a patient has an email on file" — a quiet correctness improvement that supports the existing "collect payments online, no friction for staff or patients" story, rather than a new capability.
