For Sales
What this is
A bug fix under the hood of an existing feature (online payment links via Paymob). It's not something to pitch as new functionality — it removes a rough edge from a capability Dentolize already sells.
Where it's relevant in a conversation
If a prospect currently using — or evaluating — Paymob as their payment processor asks about reliability of online payment collection, you can say: Dentolize's Paymob integration no longer depends on the patient having an email address to generate a valid payment link. Phone-only patients (very common in the region) are unaffected either way.
Objection handling
"We had cases where payment links wouldn't generate for some patients." If the clinic is on Paymob and those patients had no email on file, this is almost certainly why, and it's fixed. If they're on Geidea, Fawry, or Stripe, this particular fix doesn't apply — those integrations weren't affected by this bug and use separate code paths (see Paymob Fallback Email for the technical breakdown if you need to loop in engineering).
"Do patients need an email to pay online?" No — never did, never will. Phone number alone is enough to generate a link. This fix is purely about making sure the request Dentolize sends to Paymob is always well-formed, whether or not an email is present.
Competitive angle
Not a differentiator on its own — this is table-stakes reliability, not a feature to lead with. It's worth having in your back pocket only if a competitor's payment-link flow is being compared unfavorably on the same axis (works regardless of what patient data is on file).
