For Marketing
This is a small, unglamorous, but genuinely felt fix — the kind of polish that shows up in day-to-day usage rather than a feature-announcement email. Frame it as part of an ongoing quality push rather than a standalone launch.
The angle
"Uploads now tell you what's happening." Before, uploading a patient X-ray or a clock-in photo over a slow clinic Wi-Fi connection meant staring at a spinner with no idea whether it was working or stuck. Now the app shows a percentage, the file size, and the upload speed — the same kind of feedback people expect from any modern app.
What to say
- "No more guessing whether an upload froze."
- "See exactly how far along a file, photo, or voice note is."
- Useful in the same breath as any messaging about clinics with imperfect internet
(rural clinics, older buildings, shared Wi-Fi) — this is a small but concrete reliability-of-experience story, not a raw feature.
What not to say
- Don't call this an upload speed improvement — nothing about how fast files
upload changed. Only the visibility into progress changed.
- Don't promise it everywhere in the app. It's specifically the four upload flows
covered in this PR: clock-in photos, patient files, patient voice notes, and staff chat voice messages. Other uploads elsewhere in the app are unaffected.
- This is mobile-only. Don't imply it's also on the web dashboard.
