The honest headline
This is a precision fix, not a feature launch. The invoices analytics bar now reports the discount percentage against the pre‑discount price, so the number finally means what people assume it means. Market it as accuracy and trust, not as a new capability.
Pre‑release note: this change is on a branch and not yet shipped. Do not announce it as "available" until it is released. When it does ship, it belongs in a "fixes & improvements" note, not a headline campaign.
Messaging that is true to the code
Good, defensible lines:
- "Your discount analytics now measure the true percentage off — calculated
against the full price before the discount, not the reduced total."
- "Small‑print math, done right: when you discount ₺2,373 on ₺20,675 of work,
Dentolize now shows 11.5 %, not an inflated figure."
- "One more number you can quote to an accountant without a second thought."
Lines to avoid (they overstate what changed):
- ❌ "New discount analytics" — the tile already existed; only its math changed.
- ❌ "Redesigned invoicing" — nothing was redesigned.
- ❌ "Fixes across all financial reports" — this touches one tile on the
invoices screen (web + mobile). Tax, insurance, paid, and remaining percentages were already using a different, unaffected basis.
Where it fits in the story
Dentolize's pitch to clinics leans on financial clarity in Arabic/English, ZATCA‑ready invoicing, and analytics you can trust. This fix is a small proof point for the "analytics you can trust" pillar: the team catches and corrects even a one‑decimal reporting discrepancy. That's the narrative — diligence — not novelty.
Suggested channels
- A one‑line entry in the in‑app changelog / release notes.
- An optional mention in a "reliability & polish" roundup email, bundled with
other fixes.
- Not worth a standalone blog post or social campaign.
