The one-line pitch
Dentolize now connects clinics and pharmacies directly to the suppliers they already buy from — order supplies, track delivery, and watch stock and the bill update automatically, all inside Dentolize.
What's actually true today (unreleased)
This is a base milestone, not a finished marketplace. Before writing anything customer-facing, know what's real right now versus what's planned:
- ✅ Suppliers can list what they sell and manage an order inbox through their own portal.
- ✅ Clinics/pharmacies can browse listed products, place a direct order with one supplier, and receive it into stock with the bill auto-booked.
- ✅ A reorder list that flags low stock automatically.
- ⏳ Not yet built: RFQ creation (asking multiple suppliers to bid), multi-vendor cart/checkout, supplier search/discovery beyond a basic text search, supplier storefronts/branding, promotions or featured listings, bulk catalog import. These are called out explicitly as belonging to a different, not-yet-merged branch (
marketplace-core) or "later phases" in the engineering plan. - ⏳ Suppliers only get RFQ-response and standalone accounting at a paid tier — there's a real tier ladder (free → paid), so "self-serve sales channel" messaging should say a paid plan unlocks the richer capabilities, not imply everything is free.
Do not describe this as "now live" or "available to customers" in any copy — it hasn't shipped. Frame future-facing material as "coming to Dentolize" or "in development," and route any date/rollout claims through engineering/product first.
Angles that hold up
- "Buy your supplies without leaving Dentolize." The core, honest hook — no context-switching to WhatsApp/phone for supply orders that already happen today.
- One-click receiving. "Mark it received, and it's on your shelf and in your books" — this is a real, verified behavior (see Order Lifecycle & Accounting), not aspirational.
- Built-in reorder reminders. The reorder list is a genuinely useful, low-effort feature to headline: Dentolize already tracks preferred stock levels, so this is "we noticed you're running low" for free.
- A new channel for suppliers, not just clinics. The seller portal is worth its own message to a different audience (dental/medical suppliers) — see For Sales for how that pitch differs.
What to avoid claiming
- Don't call it "the Dentolize Marketplace" as a discovery/shopping experience yet — the buyer-side browse is explicitly a placeholder ("verifiable end-to-end before marketplace-core lands its advanced multi-vendor search"). It's closer to "order from a supplier you already know" than "shop a marketplace."
- Don't promise multi-supplier quote comparisons or RFQ broadcasting to customers — that engine doesn't exist yet in what's merged here.
- Don't imply automatic price matching, escrow, or payment processing through Dentolize — this milestone is "order-routing only, on-account": each side still settles/pays outside the platform, and each company posts its own books independently (no shared ledger, no commission taken).
