For Sales
Two different buyers here — pitch them differently.
Pitching to clinics/pharmacies (buyer side)
The pain today: staff already order gloves, anesthetic, consumables from outside suppliers by phone or WhatsApp, then someone has to remember to log the purchase into Dentolize afterward — often late, sometimes not at all, which throws off stock counts and the books.
The pitch: "You already track your stock levels in Dentolize. Now you can order what's low, straight from a supplier, and receiving the delivery is one click — it puts the stock in and posts the bill, correctly taxed, automatically."
What to demo (see the Walkthrough for real screens): Inventory → Procurement → Reorder list (auto-flagged low stock) → Marketplace tab (search, add to cart, place order) → Orders tab → Receive into stock.
Objection: "Can I compare prices across suppliers?" — Not yet, honestly. Today's Marketplace tab is a straightforward search across whatever's been listed; RFQ-style "ask multiple suppliers to bid" is planned but not in this milestone. Don't oversell this — say "that's coming, this milestone proves the order → receive → book loop works end-to-end."
Objection: "What if the product I ordered isn't in my inventory list yet?" — Real limitation, be upfront: receiving requires every product on the order to already be mapped to one of your stock items. If it isn't, the receipt is blocked with a clear message telling you which products to map first — it won't silently guess or create a duplicate stock line.
Pitching to suppliers (seller side)
The pain today: suppliers sell to clinics via relationships, phone orders, reps — no low-friction way for a clinic already using Dentolize to just... buy from them inside the software the clinic already lives in.
The pitch: "Get a storefront-style presence in front of every Dentolize clinic. List what you sell, get orders straight into an inbox, manage fulfilment status, and (on paid plans) respond to buyer RFQs and see your books."
Tier ladder — know this before quoting a supplier: listings, the order inbox, and basic fulfilment are free (tier 0). RFQ response, bulk import, standalone accounting, and basic analytics require a paid plan (tier 1+). Featured listings are a paid add-on (tier 2+). Every plan also caps how many listings a supplier can publish — hitting the cap blocks new listings with an upgrade prompt, so a supplier with a large catalog is a natural upsell conversation, not a blocker to lead with.
Competitive framing: the differentiator isn't "another marketplace" — it's that the supplier's buyers are clinics already running their whole practice in Dentolize. Orders flow straight into inventory and accounting on both sides without manual re-entry, which a generic B2B marketplace can't offer a Dentolize customer.
Objection: "Is this a real marketplace with lots of buyers?" — Be accurate: this milestone proves the mechanics (list → order → fulfil → get paid-in-books), not supplier discoverability at scale. Broader search/discovery is a later phase.
