For Marketing
Is this a marketable feature?
Not on its own. This is a bug fix to an existing security control ("Logout All Users"), not a new feature — there's no new button, screen, or setting to announce. Treat it as a footnote in a security/trust changelog, not a headline release note.
If it comes up
If you need language for a security-focused changelog, release notes, or a response to a customer/prospect question about device and notification hygiene, the honest framing is:
"Signing all staff out of a Dentolize clinic (via Logout All Users) now also clears every device's saved notification registration, so a device that's been forced offline stops receiving clinic activity alerts."
Avoid framing this as "we discovered we were leaking data" — the exposure was notification metadata (e.g. "New appointment booked", "Invoice created"), not patient records or credentials, and it only affected devices that had already been forcibly logged out by an owner. Don't editorialize about the severity in either direction; the for-stakeholders page has the accurate risk framing.
Don't do this
- Don't claim this is "available now" — it's unreleased. See the
- Don't imply this changes how regular, individual logout works — that path
was already correct before this PR.
